Betty Fox has some serious chops. We hate to compare, but think Aretha Franklin. Really. Her heart-pumping, soulful voice and electric stage presence is enough to get anyone loving the blues and we're so excited to have her headlining our Summer Tour finale on September 1st at Terra Fermata.

Betty has an extensive background in gospel and blues. She started singing at the age of 4, inspired by her uncles exuberant piano playing. Along with her quartet, The Betty Fox Band, she has been dominating the Florida blues scene by playing at festivals around the state, including Treasure Island's Bikini Blues Bash Festival, Daytona Blues Festival and the Tangerine Blues Festival. The band has opened for countless talents such as Mavis Staples, The Legendary JC's and Selwyn Birchwood (IBC WINNER) and were finalists at the Best Of The Bay and the 2015 International Blues Challenge.

Her most recent album, Slow Burn (2015), has been described as "Full of soul and steeped in blues," by Blog Critics. After listening to the album, we think you'll agree. Slow Burn is a combination of original blues and cover ballads where Betty manages to pull off an inspiring rendition of Otis Reddings, "Remember Me".

Betty is definitely a performer you'll want to see in person.
