The impact of women in music is powerful. It's a movement that is starting to gain much needed traction and one we feel very passionate about. We wanted to create a special event that gave woman a platform to "share their voice," to celebrate their diversity and richness, and more importantly, to give back to the community.

The series will showcase a select number of exceptional women musicians to play at various venues, starting in Florida, and eventually expanding to other parts of the US. Our summer tour will be in full swing starting June 1st.

We've also partnered with a local charity, Peace, Love and Music Inc (a 501 (3)(c)), to create a Rockliscious Scholarship for Girls that will provide music education and an instrument to at-risk youth. The scholarship will be funded with 30% of merchandise sales,   at-venue donations and matching donations from sponsors and venue owners.

Each show will feature 2 local acoustic artists and a headliner that will play for 1 1/2 hours.

The Team

Rockliscious is brought to you by SoFlo Battle of the Bands founder JGE Productions, a music production company focused on creating live, community oriented music events that helps promote local artists.

JODI GAINES - founder

Jodi Gaines, a native Floridian, is an acoustic guitarist, singer/songwriter and entrepreneur. Although Jodi is relatively new to the music industry as an artist, she is no stranger to social media marketing, software development and event logistics.

In addition to creating Rockliscious and other music events, Jodi also co-founded ReplyManager, a web-based tool designed to help online sellers manage their incoming customer communications. She served as CEO and blog editor until it's sale to XSellco in 2015. She was also a founding partner of iguanafarmGroup, a product development and engineering company.

Jodi is a big believer in giving back to the community. In addition to managing non-profit 5K races in Hobe Sound and Tequesta where she helped raise more than $20,000, she's provided pro-bono marketing, web development and social media marketing services to groups such as the Hobe Sound Nature Center, Ak' Tenamit and local schools.

ED BERRIOS - sales

Ed Berrios is a local guitarist and a long-time gigging musician in South Florida (Jupiter) as well as a retired pharmaceutical sales and marketing mogul. He's well known in the local Florida music scene for his smooth guitar rifts and continues to play regularly. In fact, you'll see he and Jodi Gaines playing at the final Summer Tour show. He's played with the Jennell Eve Band, Highway Three as well as freelance work for a number of local artists.

In a previous life, he was the VP of Sales/Marketing at Hi-Tech Pharmacal where he was single handedly responsible for increasing company revenues by $16 Million to $240 Million.  Ed  retired in 2014 (very young). And needing something exciting to do, he joined our ranks earlier this year to help develop Rockliscious and other JGE events. We're very glad to have him!

"I firmly believe in the empowerment of women," said Ed. "I'm truly excited to have the opportunity to make a difference in the world of music with Rockliscious."
